This song circle is a special space designed for women to nurture their souls, connect with others, and build confidence in their voices. We sing joyful, easy-to-learn songs that you can carry into your daily life, helping you feel grounded, replenished, and whole. All voices belong.
This group is open to women of all ages, stages, and life phases—whether you’re a singer, non-singer, or shy singer. The focus is on YOU, and the goal is simple: to get women singing and feeling good. We welcome non-binary individuals who feel comfortable in a woman-centered space.
During sessions, a leader will guide the group through songs line by line, and soon everyone will know them by heart. The atmosphere is fun and supportive, with tea, snacks, and space for little ones to play as the women unwind and harmonize.
Come for a free taster session, or join the term at any point. Pre-registration is required either way.

When I was a child I loved singing. I still remember how good it felt in my body and spirit – the magical portal to another world a song would open. But very early on, like so many of us, I learned I was not a “good” singer. And so I stopped singing. For years I would carry the label of being a “bad” singer as a truth.

Fast Forward – a childhood, adolescence and young adulthood lived; 3 children later – I rediscovered the magical portal of singing again. This time it was in women’s circles and community circles and singing was immensely healing. It gave me a sense of wholeness, wellbeing and belonging. And so I slowly began to sing. And as I did, I learned to trust a new truth – we are all singers, our voices are our original instruments and they are all beautiful. And as I tried on this truth, and sang more often and in different spaces, I witnessed the transformation in myself and others.
This love of singing together as women – as our most original and ancient practice – is what brought me to Singing Mamas. I am so excited to provide mothers and women with the space to sing together, to support each other’s well-being, and to feel that sense of belonging. As a new mother, a tired mother, a busy mother, I could have used this support!
More about me:
I am a mother of three wonderful children. I am a therapist and work with people navigating grief, loss and life transitions. I love facilitating groups and have done so for over two decades – including mother-mother breastfeeding support groups, women’s circles, mid-life transition circles, and grief groups. I am a trained meditation teacher (Vipassana and Zen traditions), love learning from plants, and creating jewelry, potions and other magical things.
I am so excited to sing with you!
